What it is: making her speech at the General Elections
(Transcript, in case YouTube eats the video: General Elections speech: "I can't believe I'm standing here right now. For the longest time, I've been unable to become a successor. I'd be lying if I said I never felt bitter about it. But I always had a friend by my side. I'm not good at expressing how I feel, so I started bottling up all that frustration. But...I had a friend who protested, cried, and got angry even more than me. Thanks to her, I made it this far without giving up! I may not have become a successor, but being elected today...makes me so...so happy. That said, I still have my promise with that friend! Kanata! The General Elections are just the preliminaries! Let's both become successors as soon as we can!")
What she learned:
- she's worked really hard for this
- it's okay to be frustrated sometimes
- it's okay to cry
- succession is a Big Deal; of course she wants to be one
- this is the highlight of her idol career so far
- persistence persistence persistence
- her BFF is amazing
